The story starts with a young boy who’s  dad is in jail  and they live in the projects.

His trying to get his family out the projects by doing what is dad use to do. His has a little brother thats having a hard time in school and Ty is trying to help him get through his problems.Ty has a girlfriend but she what she don’t understand is that he is going through problems and that is not in the mood for relationship.

Its a sunday morning and Ty wakes up cause he hears someone knocking on the door as he opens the door he sees the landlord. “Where’s your mom?” the landlord aske’s. TY goes to wake his mom up and he notices that she not there. Ty goes to his room and get his phone to call her but she doesnt answer the phone. Ty walks back to the the door where the landlord is waiting, and he tells him his mom is not home yet. The landlord  tells him that they have’nt paid the rent for 3 month, and that they have to move out now as soon ASAP.

“Ty where are we going!!” says Ty’s little brother. “Don’t worry i’ll get us out of here “ reply Ty.

They take them to a foster care,  but Ty lives the foster a year later cause his little brother thinks he’s in hell. Ty goes back to his girlfriend and tell her his plan to get his brother out foster care. She asking him all this questions and he doesnt like that so he tells her he can’t stay with her if shes keep asking him all these questions. Ty is planning to have parties just like his father did so he can make money out of it.

This book was good because it feels like  i can relate to it.
