Mariah Carey

     Mariah Carey is a R&B singer. Mariah was only 3 years old when here parents divorced. When Mariah was four her mother began formal voice lessons for her.  While Mariah was growing up, she learned about opera and folk music from her mother. Her older brother and sister taught her about soul and R&B.  Mariah's growing up yeas were not safe ans sheltered as most middle class girls. Her sister Allison was pregnant at ago 16. Many of Mariah's friends where making bad choices tat led them into trouble. But Mariah was determined to learn from others mistake. She had big plans for her life.

     Mariah struggled in school. He entered Greenlawn Junior High School on Long Island. She loved classes where she could use her creativity writing  music. He was bored with all her other classes. She even forgot to take her eighth grade finals. She thought school wasn't important. Her mother insisted her daughter to stay in school, but at the same time she encouraged Mariah to pursue her musical career. Her career grow. At the ago 17 Mariah managed to make it through her senior year and graduate.

     After she graduate Mariah moved to a  big city, New York. She worked a lot and lived i n a tiny apartment. she had a very few cloths and ate a lot of macaroni and cheese from a box. She didn't have much money to pay stuff. After she works all day Mariah would get together with Ben and create songs all night. Ben was a guys she meet that writes songs. He 7 years older then her. Ever few days she would deliver a tape to one of New York's many records companies.

   The book was good for a number if reasons , First if you love reading a biography about other famous people this is a good one! Second, you can learn lots of new things.

     This similar to the Micheal Jackson book & Justin Bieber because it takes about there lives and childhood.
